Casa Sacoto is more than just a wedding venue, it’s a vision brought to life by us, Liliana and Hugo. With a deep appreciation for Portugal’s heritage and a passion for hospitality, we saw the potential in a long forgotten 19th century property and set out to restore it with care and purpose.
Liliana’s background in publicity and event planning is reflected in every detail, ensuring that each wedding feels effortless yet deeply personal. Her focus is on creating a space where couples can truly celebrate their story in an environment that feels both elegant and welcoming.
Hugo, a former industrial designer, with his love for history and craftsmanship, led the careful restoration of the manor, preserving its character while adapting it for modern comfort. His dedication to authenticity can be seen in the timeless charm of Casa Sacoto, where tradition and contemporary hospitality blend seamlessly.
Together, we work daily to create a place that feels like home, where you and your guests can gather, celebrate, and experience the beauty of Portugal’s countryside.
THE VENUE
Casa Sacoto is a slow living wedding retreat, designed for a multiple day celebration of love and life.
It’s a place where history and heart come together, 45 minutes away from Lisbon city center. Nestled in the charming parish of Carmões, one of the oldest villages in Torres Vedras, this region has been a home to many, over the centuries.
From the Lusitanian people who once fortified the land to the Romans who left their traces nearby, and the Moors who shaped its rich heritage, every stone and path here holds a story. With over 200 years of history, Casa Sacoto is a testament to the enduring spirit and resilience of the region and its people.
